What are the requirements to get an education visa for an internship at the Spanish Embassy in Turkey?

Required Documents:


Passport:

A valid passport with at least two blank pages.

The passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Spain.

A copy of the passport's information page.


Visa Application Form:

A completed and signed Schengen visa application form.

Biometric Photos:

Two recent passport-sized photos (35-40 mm in width), taken within the last six months with a white background.


Internship Acceptance Letter:

Proof of Enrollment:

A letter from your current educational institution in Turkey confirming your enrollment and approving your participation in the internship program.


Internship Agreement:

An agreement between the educational institution in Turkey, the host company in Spain, and the intern.

The agreement should detail the internship terms, including tasks, working hours, and supervision.


Proof of Financial Means:

Evidence that you can financially support yourself during your stay in Spain.

This can include bank statements, proof of scholarship, financial support letters, or evidence of remuneration from the internship.


Accommodation Proof:

Documentation showing where you will be staying in Spain, such as a rental agreement or a confirmation letter from the host company if they provide accommodation.


Travel Health Insurance:

Health insurance covering medical expenses up to at least 30,000 Euros.

The insurance should be valid for the entire Schengen area and for the entire duration of your stay.


Criminal Record Certificate:

A clean criminal record certificate issued by the authorities in Turkey.

The certificate should be translated into Spanish and apostilled.


Medical Certificate:

A medical certificate stating that you do not suffer from any diseases that could have serious public health repercussions according to the International Health Regulations of 2005.

The certificate should be translated into Spanish.


Visa Application Fee:

Proof of payment of the visa application fee.

Application Process:


Schedule an Appointment:

Visit the website of the BLS in Turkey to schedule a visa application appointment.


Prepare Your Documents:

Gather all the required documents and ensure they are complete and accurate.


Attend the Appointment:

Go to the BLS on the day of your appointment with all your documents.

You may need to provide biometric data (fingerprints).


Submission and Review:

Submit your documents for review. The processing time may vary, so apply at least 1-2 months before your planned departure date.


Receive Your Visa:

If your application is approved, you will be notified to collect your passport with the visa affixed. You may need to return to the embassy or consulate to pick it up.
